I woke up and talked to Dedo for almost 3 hours. It was great to catch up! I also talked to Lianna and her parents. Her dad was worried about me when I was travelling by myself, so I reassured him that I was safe and had a great time. After lunch, I went and took care of my class schedule conflicts. The rest of the day was filled with reading, napping, and working on my blog. During dinner, Annabel texted me asking if I could play netball later on in the evening. They needed to have people fill in. I was excited! It would be my real first competitive game!
We won the game by 1 point in the last 22 seconds. I did alright. I played wing attack the entire game. I only got 3 penalties called on me. As Mitch said, "I was on the ground a lot." Netball is a non-contact sport. This was anything but non-contact. I didn't want to get more penalties called on me so I usually just took the hit. I also got into a jump ball situation. I had never done it before and I had no idea how it worked. We did a practice one and I jumped like in basketball. Well, in netball it is a grab. I anticipated the real one and the other team got the ball anyway. It was a tough but fun game. I hope I get another chance to play before I go home. On the way home, we stopped at Hungry Jacks. I got a celebratory 50 cent ice cream cone!

I got up early and talked to Eric for awhile. Lauren and I headed into town to pick up some things. We had lunch when we got back and got ready for a snorkel. It was an okay day, but we just wanted to get in. The spots in Warrnambool were too rough, but we went out to Kilarney and it was alright. One the way to the car park we saw a fox run across the road. That is the first fox I have seen while I have been in Australia. The air temperature was really cold but the water wasn't too bad. The visibility wasn't great and there weren't a lot of fish swimming around. We only stayed in a short time because the currents started to get stronger. We came back and got cleaned up. Sonia invited me over for dinner and to watch Crocodile Dundee. It was a great night hanging out with her and her housemate Alex. After the movie, I watched them put a 3D puzzle together.
Today was the definition of a lazy day. It was gloomy, rainy weather. I stayed in my pjs most of the day. I worked on my blog, napped, and watch a tv show. It was much needed. I hadn't given myself a day to just recuperate from all my travelling and activities. Ben invited me over to his house for dinner in the evening. I said I guess I would get out of my pjs and be social. His and aunts and cousin were visiting. We had a great dinner filled with laughing! I got along pretty well with his cousin. Ben brought out his guitar too. We picked out some songs for church. His family loved one of the songs so much they recorded it. After everyone was full and sleepy his aunts and cousin left and we ended up watching a movie.

It wasn't my day for whale watching but Lauren invited me along. It was not a very nice day for it. The ocean was rough and the wind and rain were blowing in. We only stayed for 30 minutes. There were no signs of whales but big storm clouds moving in.

When I got back I changed and found Lianna. I thought that we had morning tea with the new Americans but that was supposed to be the next day. It didn't matter. We talked at her house and she made me lunch! It was a tasty toasty! We went into town afterwards. Everyone had to go get something and I was helping "tall Chris" find a went suit. He is one of the new Americans in my house. He is 6'8". We found him a wetsuit and then walked around some more before heading to the grocery store. When we got back to uni I was so sleepy. I took a power nap because I knew tonight would be a late night.
Sonia and I had dinner together at her place before salsa dancing. We did both the beginner and intermediate salsa classes. It was so much fun and I pretty good work out. She came back to uni with me after and we played cards and talked to my friends before heading into town.
We stayed at the Sean until 1am then headed to the Gal for an hour. It was a ton of fun, but I crashed as soon as we got home.
