Monday... is not a horrible day of the week anymore for me. I don't have class. So on the official first, last day of my undergraduate career, I got to sit back and relax. I slept in and talked to Eric. Then I went over my emails and had some free lunch with my housemates. I came back and read through some of my unit guides too. Then Jonno and I practiced our song for the talent show on Thursday. I wasn't originally going to do it but he convinced me to do it with him so they would have enough people to keep the event going. It was the first practice and it was a little rough learning my part but by the end I was feeling more confident.
After dinner, I quickly made nutella brownies. I found the recipe on Pinterest. It was two ingredient eggs and nutella. I followed the recipe but they didn't turn out the best. We had a few at bible study but otherwise I will have to try again and add flour. Bible study was alright and when I got home I took care of a few things before heading to bed.

My first, last class started at 4pm. Azra and I got up early to go for a run to see the whales. It was great having a running buddy. When we got there we didn't see any whales right away, but then a mom and her baby surfaced. The pictures aren't great.
We got back just in time before the mist came rolling in. We also found these beautiful smelling blue flowers!
After we cooled down a little bit. We went our separate ways to shower and eat. I listen to my first lecture for my online class and started organising my schedule and school supplies for my classes this trimester. Then it was time for free lunch and reptiles! What a great combo huh?
I wasn't too excited to hold the snake.
Almost every time we have a free lunch they bring this guy in to talk about reptiles. All the animals are native to Australia. This was the first time he brought in venomous species. He demonstrated how to milk them for their venom to make antidotes and medicines.
https://plus.google.com/107577374683880825997/posts/QmVKHPtZoWx This was enough venom to kill 6 adults.
There was also a musician there performing. He played the didgeridoo too!
The rest of the afternoon, I looked through some homework and filled out more pieces of my vet school application before class. I was very impressed with the lecturer I have for my aquaculture class. He is Italian so he has a cool accent but he is just a great teacher too! That gets me excited about the class!
Jonno and I practiced after class again before dinner. After dinner my housemates and I cleaned up the kitchen. I worked on my vet school application some more before going to see Transformers with Beck. It was a fun to see a movie with her! Overall, it was a good first, last day!
