May 20th, 2014
Saturday was a bleak weather day. I mostly relaxed and talked to people from home. In the evening, we had a girls night! I went over to Sonia's house and a few other girls from church and I had dinner. We were going to watch a movie but we ended up sitting at the dinner table just talking until midnight.
Sunday morning was church. I met more people after church and got to hold one of the new borns from the congregation. All the men in the church we teasing me and saying they should send a picture back to the US. Ben finally came up to me and said that I could not keep her. We went out for coffee before my long afternoon of studying. Ben offered to make me dinner, and get some puppy love! We took the dogs out to the school yard and played ball.

After wearing the dogs out, we had dinner with Ben's family. We all ended up watching two Australian movies, The Dish and Red Dog. The Dish was about the Apollo 11 mission had had a good mix of American and Australian humour. Red Dog was a very sad movie.
Monday was a mix of studying and class. I did go for a run in the morning since the rain decided to take a break. It has been warmer the last few days so I am trying to get outside when it is nice. In the evening we had bible study. Afterwards, we watched movie.
This morning I booked all my flights and activities for my trip to Cairns and Sydney. I have a long trimester break and I am filling it by spending 3 days on the Great Barrier Reef, 2 days in the rainforest, and a few days in Sydney seeing the city sights. It is still a month away but I am super excited! The rest of the day a mix of studying, going to the gym, and, you guessed, it more studying. I have a few weeks before exams, but all my assignments are done so I might as well get a head start on studying.
