I spent most of the day catching up on my blog. I also began to organise and pack a few things. It was a very rainy and windy day so nothing fun could really happen outside. Overall, it wasn't a very interesting day but that was alright. In the evening, Beck, Chris, Jackie, Sonia, Alex, Josh, Emma (Sonia's friend) and I all went to see the Dracula Untold movie in the theatre. It was a great movie and great company!
Tuesday
I slept in for a long time. This whole time change had messed up my sleeping pattern. But after I got up I fixed a few problems with my blog and then I continued to organise and sort out things to pack. I also began to work on reformatting my resume to apply for jobs. Chris literally came a dragged me out of my room to go play outside for a little bit. I think all of us are ready for these exams to be done. We are desperate to have a little bit more fun before we have to start really studying tomorrow. I had dinner with Ben and his Dad. It was very good. We also ended up watching the movie Ender's Game. I really liked the movie.
Wednesday
I got up and finished my resume and picked a few jobs to apply to. I talked to my dad for a little bit too. After lunch I practiced the song I am singing for the concert before going to church to rehearse with Ben and Heidi. The rehearsal went really well for us. It took longer than we expected so I went over to Ben's house for a very quick dinner before church. The short church service and bible study were very good. I got back to uni just in time to see the lunar eclipse starting. My housemates and Beck came to watch the entire eclipse outside our house. It was really cool to watch! My photos weren't great but here they are...

Our friend Jimmy Wilson came to take some photos too... his were AMAZING!!
Afterwards, I went over to Beck's house to watch a movie. It was a fun night.
Thursday
I spent the morning cleaning more things out of my room and starting to pack. Then I hung out with Azra, Lianna, and Chris for a bit before heading out to go surfing. It was a fun time surfing. I didn't get on my feet but I caught some great waves. It was a great work out too. At the Flume it is very hard to paddle out beyond the breaks so we were all pretty tired after surfing for a bit.
After we got back from surfing, we cleaned up and headed to the shops. We were making dinner for a going away party for Chris. Dinner was enchiladas! I was an evening full of laughter!
Friday
I didn't sleep well but I still got up to see the whales. It was a great day to see them too! They were so close!
They are such beautiful animals! It is amazing to watch them for awhile and see how affectionate they are with one another.
Once we were back at uni we started to get ready to go SCUBA diving. We headed down to the shop and she told us to take a look at the conditions before we rented anything. The conditions at the site where we wanted to go we not very good so we ended up just heading to the beach for the afternoon. We went to Logans beach for the good body boarding waves. The whales were still there too. At one point they were only 100m away from us. That is pretty cool!!
At the end of the video of this first link you can see the whales!!
Having fun in the waves.
Body Boarding
After the beach we all came back and had lunch. After all the swimming we were hungry. I then relaxed in the sun outside until close to dinner time. Ben's family invited me out for dinner, but of course we went wine tasting first. It was a nice evening out. Then back at uni Azra, Jackie, and I watched some movies that were on TV before heading to bed.
