It was a very uneventful day. I worked on an assignment all day. The weather wasn't the best outside so I felt like I didn't miss much. In the evening I was going to continue working on my assignments but my housemates convinced me to come along to the basketball playoffs.
We watched the end of the Deakin Women's blue team game. They dominated! Ashley also had a great three pointer.
The Deakin Men's blue team also won. It was a good game to watch. I was glad I went!
I finished up my assignment when I got back and turned it in! It was a semi-boring but successful day.

I FINISHED MY VET SCHOOL APPLICATIONS!! I was very excited to submit my final essays for my remaining applications. It has been a long process but hopefully it will pay off in the end. I am only waiting on a couple letters of recommendation then all I have to do is wait until spring to find out if I have been accepted.
I talked to my family for a bit before I started on another assignment. I had to take a nap half way through. We had a massive storm pass through during the night so I didn't get a lot of sleep. The nap reenergised me and I was able to get a good chunk of it done before my class. After class, Chris and I were going to run but it started to rain so we asked Bri for a ride to the store to get... cheese. Having all these Wisconsinites in the house means we go through a lot of cheese. After shopping and dinner, I was back to my assignment. I finished it and made popcorn to celebrate.

I slept in a little and had a relaxing morning before heading out for a run. We ran about 5.5 miles. It was good to stretch out my legs after the run on Saturday. Now we plan on just taking a rest until Sunday. I made lunch and then Lauren, Jackie, and I headed to the shops to get some things for the shirts we are making. I worked on the design up until class. Everyone was pretty stressed out when I got home for class so I suggested we have some fun with glitter. I had seen a really cool picture online and I wanted to try it out.
We first tried regular glitter but it you couldn't see it in the pictures. So we moved up to big pieces of glitter. Bri was my Guinea pig.
She tried it with me.
Then Chris and Lauren had a go...
We convinced Jackie to do it. I had to leave to blow my nose quick and in that amount of time they were able to add a surprise.
They had dumped half a bottle of the fine glitter into her hands and my face was covered. It was hilarious. Sarah got the side view. You can see my surprise.
I got some of the glitter off my face but a majority of it was still there. Then Lauren had a go. I have over 50 photos of her just laughing though.
Then she was able to do it.
Then it became a competition between Chris and Lauren who could get the best photo.
This was a really funny sequence Chris got. The wind picked up in the middle and blew a lot of the glitter on the ground.
We were all laughing by the time we were done. It was a good distraction from the stress of school. I love that we can all just do something goofy together and have so much fun!
The rest of the night was devoted to another assignment. I finished and went to bed.

It was the full on day of classes. We had a guest speaker for one of our lectures. It was super interesting! I was very happy to be done with classes by the end though. Jackie and I went to cheap as chips to get a couple things for the house after class. It was good to get outside even if it was just for a short walk. Right after dinner I went to another house and helped two of my friends on their assignments. The Aussie students aren't as comfortable writing scientific papers so I offered to help my friends edit theirs when they were done. Then Jackie and I started to work on our shirts for Sunday. I didn't work on any of my homework but I was happy for the break.
