Monday
I woke up in the morning sick. I had a full blown head cold so I stayed in bed all morning. Before heading off to my field trip I took a quiz for a class. The field trip was to the Wannon Water goldfish farm. Jackie and I had been there before to see it and get our fish. On this trip we got to see them do hormone injections to stimulate spawning.
It was funny because only a couple people knew that Ben Paulner and I knew each other. Ben, before he started another shpeal, he said "Katie are you sick." I laughed and said "yeah, very." Everyone in the class looked at us completely bewildered. It was pretty funny. The rest of the time on the people in class were trying to figure out how we knew each other. After the injections we got to see the males start to chase the females.

Fishy romance 
When we got back to uni, I finished up my essays for my veterinary applications. It was a relief to get them done especially since I have so many assignments to do. I was going to stay in for the night but Beck convinced me to come to small group pot and parma night. It was fun to get out even if I was sick. Sonia was a lifesaver and gave me some Vic's too. After dinner and a cup of tea I came home and went straight to bed.
Tuesday
I tried to sleep in but was unsuccessful so I started on my assignments. The sun decided to come out so I moved out there. Everyone in my house thought it was hilarious because I had my hand sanitiser, paper towels, lotion for my nose, and a bag to put it in. Lauren had to capture the moment.
I worked on my homework right up until class. I was not feeling so hot in class so I when I got back I went to sleep. But the door to my room was blocked by a stack of tissue boxes. Thanks Chris and Bri! After dinner, I did more homework until I went to sleep.
Wednesday
It was a day full of resting, homework, and one class. I finished my assignment right around dinner time. Chris offered to edit it for me. I was really thankful because I knew I would make a lot of silly mistakes since I was sick. In the end I realised he wanted to edit it so he could give me rubbish about all the stupid mistakes I made. It was funny. I turned it in and then went to bed.
Thursday
I finally woke up feeling a little better. I had a full day of classes ahead of me so I was happy I didn't have to blow my nose every five minutes. Classes were fine. I am really happy with my classes this semester. They are very interesting. After classes, it was nap time. I curled up on my bed in the sun, the only thing I was missing, my kitties. It is finally spring here and the sun is shinning almost every day now! Chris woke me up to go for a run. It was just a short one, but I needed it. I hadn't run for a few days. Then it was dinner, a little more homework, and my weekly trip to the gym with Beck and Josh. It was a good work out. I helped Azra with homework before heading to bed.
Friday
No class!! Yeah!! Ben and I had whale watching in the morning. I was super excited because they had been seen almost everyday throughout the week... until our day. We didn't see any but it was a beautiful morning to just sit and enjoy the sun and watch the ocean. Afterwards, we went into town so I could run a few errands. When I got back, I was determined to work on some more homework, but Bri and Jacinta were heading to the beach. I couldn't pass it up on such a nice day, plus I thought it would help me beat the cold.

Bri and Jacinta thought it would be a great idea to dump Jackie in the ocean. That became too much work so they decided to bury her in sand instead

It was a fun couple hours at the beach. As soon as I got home I took a nap. Then I got up and showered before going on a motor bike ride with Josh. It was fun to ride along the coast and watch the sunset. When we got back we made a cuppa and waited for Beck to get home to say hi! I had dinner with the Crofts. We got Bojangles pizza and pasta... and for dessert death by chocolate mousse cake and frostbite ice-cream. It was delicious! Then we watched some more swimming. I came home and went straight to bed.
