Halloween Day

Friday October 31, 2014 Halloween Day

It was the last day for Dad and Grandpa. They were up early finishing their packing. Beck was picking us up and taking us to brekkie at the Pavilion. It was a beautiful morning. 

The horses were out for their morning swims and we saw a seal. It was a good breakfast before a day of travelling. Beck dropped us off at the train station and then we waited. There was something wrong with the line so we ended up having to catch a bus to Campierdown before getting on the train to Melbourne. It was an easy bus ride and a great train ride. Dad and Grandpa got to see more of the Australian country side. Once we arrived in Melbourne we caught the sky bus to the airport. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay long because I had to catch the late train back to Warrnambool. After they got settled into the hotel. We got a pizza and beer at the bar before I headed off to airport to catch the bus. I walked around the airport with dad looking for a jumper. We didn’t find one but I figured he could get one the next day. I said my final good bye to him and then I was off back to the train station. I got there with plenty of time so I found a wifi hot spot and talked to Eric and some friends on facebook. Eventually it was time to board the train. I was very tired and intending to sleep but there were a couple guys my age that wanted to ask me everything about America. We were able to have a conversation all the way back to Warrnambool. As soon as I got off the train Beck’s mum was there to greet me. She and her husband picked me up to take me to Beck’s Halloween party. It was so they could spy ;) The party was in full swing when I arrived. I went to Beck’s room to change into my costume and do my make up. Beck came in a talked to me while I got ready. It was really great to see her after a long day of travel. When I was finally ready I headed out to the party. It was an absolute blast! Around midnight we were all in town and dancing the night away. I was going to go home somewhat early to uni but I realised that my keys were at Beck’s. So at the end of the night I headed back to Beck’s and crawled into the orca room bed and fell asleep.
