Well, I have about 24 hours until I board the first plane on my way to Australia. I am very nervous right now and emotional. I had a great weekend spending time with Eric and his family as well as most of my friends in Whitewater. I still don't think it has completely hit me that I will be gone for nine months. I am sure it won't feel that long though. Today I have been trying to stay busy to not give myself a lot of time to think. Unfortunately, Mother Nature decided I needed to have one more snow storm before I left the country. Here is the view from my room.
On the other hand, I got to see my first tooth extraction today. I took Sweetie to the vet this morning and went back later to see the vet pull two teeth. Sweetie is doing very well! We get to go pick her up in a couple hours. Hopefully she won't hate me for too long tonight since I only have a short amount of time left.
The rest of the day I will be spending time with my family and finishing up any last minute packing I need to do. Hopefully, I will be able to get some rest tonight since I have a long 2 or so days of traveling. It is exciting to say that the next time I will be posting I will be on the other side of the world and in the "future." ;)
